Touch a willing or coerced creature. That creature is bound from speaking, writing, or otherwise disclosing information about a specific event, agreement, or period of employment that you specify at the time of casting. The binding persists regardless of the creature’s location, employment status, or subsequent grievances.

A creature attempting to violate this binding must succeed on a Tenure saving throw or immediately suffer legal and reputational consequences equal to the value of the original consideration paid, plus interest. On a success, the creature may speak freely, but forfeits any remaining consideration owed under the agreement.

This spell does not prevent the bound creature from disclosing information to a licensed attorney, a government regulator, or law enforcement, though the bound creature is rarely informed of this exception at the time of signing.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the binding additionally prevents any negative characterization of your organization, factual or not, rather than just disclosure of the specified information.
