Casting Time: 1 action to initiate (a Tender Offer), though the acquisition takes 3 to 18 months to complete, contested at every stage
Range/Area: Special; one organization you can identify as a competitor, or one whose Runway has already reached 0
Components: V, S, M (a tender offer, consumed; a war chest of capital equal to the target’s estimated valuation, consumed)
Duration: Permanent; the target’s structure is transmuted into a subsidiary of your own

Choose one organization meeting the range’s requirements. Its leadership must succeed on a Solvency saving throw, made using the collective Tenure of its board and executive team. On a failed save, the target’s ownership, assets, and reporting structure are transmuted entirely into your organization; its former leadership is treated as a Legacy Servant of your organization from that point forward — still present, still occasionally consulted, no longer in control of anything.

On a successful save, the target takes structural damage regardless, and may attempt a countermeasure at its next opportunity to act.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 9th level, you may target a privately held organization as well, provided you can produce a war chest equal to its estimated valuation twice over (a Hostile Bid, followed by a Sweetened Offer).
