Choose one piece of work you can perceive. No saving throw: the reporting relationship between caster and target makes this compulsion unresistable. The target must expend hours interpreting the comment’s intent, revising the work against each interpretation in turn, and resubmitting for approval. A clarifying question directed back at the caster fails automatically unless the caster chooses to answer it, which is not compelled by this spell.

The spell’s component cost does not scale with its effect: a caster who expends a single word imposes the same obligation as one who writes a full paragraph.

At Higher Levels. When cast using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, you may apply the spell to one additional piece of work for each slot level above 1st, simultaneously.
